AMAZING

It's overall an amazing knife the sharpener works well, so does the fire starter, even though the blade came quite dull, a few swipes in it's sharpener and it came incredibly sharp. I would recommend this to who ever is looking for a great quality knife with a lot of great features.

A simple knife for basic tasks

Not bad for the money. Got mine on sale. Wouldn't pay full price for this. It didn't come as sharp as I expected it to be so I sharpened it to a razor sharp edge. Takes a pretty good beating but doesn't hold it's edge for a really long time.

Je l'ai testé à fond moi aussi et le couteau est toujours en bonne état. L'allume feu, le siflet,... tout fonctionne. Juste faire attention de ne pas casser la tige de l'allume feu.

Amazing Knife

One of the best knifes I have ever owned. Very sturdy and sharp and you know you're getting a great knife if it's a Gerber. I take it hunting with me and does the job every time. Definitely a must buy!! Worth the money and will last a long time!!

Q: Does this have a full tang? I'm wondering if the tang goes all the way to the butt of the grip... It doesn't look like it from what I can see in these pictures. If it's not a full tang, I'm not getting it.

A: it is full tang but does stop just before the hammer on the but still very solid built the same as the lmf II . The first line of this product the hammer did break off but they fixed it well worth the money

A: Based on the vendors response, the only problem they encountered with our Bear Grylls Ultimate Fixed Blade knife was an early pre-launch shipment in the USA. This concern was quickly identified and rectified, None of the early shipments came into Canada, so there is no concern. Just as an FYI, all Gerber products are guaranteed for life.
