A good quality silicone seal.

I have used this silicone twice recently and very impressed with the quality and result after applying it. Had enough time to apply and smooth it a bit and solved my water leak problem. Would not hesitate to use this it again.

The best product if you need a good seal.

I used the clear Supreme silicone (GE Supreme Silicone Window & Door Sealant, clear) in the 10.1 0z tube. I used it to caulk the joint between a concrete patio and the poured concrete foundation of the house. This gap had been stable (not widening) for several years prior to application. I prepared the surface by carefully scrubbing away any loose material with a small brush. I applied when the daytime temperature was between 75 and 80 degrees F, and the dew point was around 50 degrees. No rain occurred for 24 hours prior to application and for at least 48 hours afterward.The gap was a fairly uniform 3/16 inch gap. Since I was using a caulking gun, I was able to force enough caulk into the gap to form a very good seal. I applied about 5 or 6 linear feet, then smoothed the caulk with my finger (wearing gloves), to give it a nice finished look. Then I repeated this until finished. It has been about 10 months since I did this project, with temperatures as low as -2 degrees during the winter, to as high as 98 during the summer. Adhesion has remained flawless, and the caulk has prevented water from seeping down against the foundation. Visually, the clear caulk aged to a light gray appearance which matches well with the concrete surfaces. My experience in the past with silicone caulk was that the adhesion of previous products was not as good as this product, which makes it worth the price if you really need it to form a tight seal. You may notice that I gave a very detailed description for all of the application conditions. I’m certain that paying attention to those details are the best way to get the result you want. By the way, despite selecting clear as the color, the review defaulted to white. The caulk I used was clear.

It's more expensive than the cheaper silicone tubes but you notice the difference as soon as you start using the product..
