The best leaf rake, just the best

Have tried many rakes for leaves, this is the best. Digs well into the lawn without snagging. With super flexible tines each works separately, just jumps to catch up. With longer tines it holds more, doesn't clog. With a thinner handle it's light. Where it's longer your catch more with each stroke. . Light work indeed. One problem, the handle slipped out. Easy to fix with a single screw.

Bought one years ago at CT and it had lots of use as our property is heavily treed. Would have lasted for many more years should a 250 lbs being not stood on it. Would not have considered anything else to replace it.

Excellent rake for leaves, grass and even light topsoil. This is our second rake like this. The first was a little smaller but was at least ten years old. It was still in good condition but fell over in the grass and got run over by the lawnmower 🙁

Q: Bought the Garant 20-Tine..How do I put the screw into the handle that is supplied in the back of the rake? Shouldn’t the store have done this assembly step?

A: On the back of the rake head, you should see a spot to drill the screw through the rake head and into the handle. Depending on the store format, the handles and rake heads might be merchandised separately.

A: The rake while heavy duty is designed for picking and raking up grass, leaves and other small to medium debris on your lawn. It would be a very useful tool to assist in over seeding your lawn – however a level or landscape rake would be better suited.

A: The 59-2962 multi-purpose rake is designed primarily for lawn applications. For leveling crushed stone or gravel - a fixed steel tined bow rake or level rake would be ideal. Recommendations: 59-5533 59-5534
