Terrible product — very inaccurate. It lights up where the studs are supposed to be but because it’s inaccurate you still miss the studs half of the time. Complete waste of $30.

It's nice to know the width and center your dealing with. As opposed to just a single light (beep). As it states, it does have trouble with stucco sealings, but it's workable.

Q: What is the green light when something found

A: Green LED means it is the center of the stud, or center of the object behind the wall. The packaging refers to it under the section "Accurate". The instructions insert does not mention it (unfortunately), and neither do the PDF instructions at their website (see: https://franklinsensors.com/prosensor-m70/ ) The link I gave above has a video that shows exactly how the product works.

A: No, it will not. It will just measure the density of the Wood wall and will not penetrate past that.
