Don’t waste your money

Bought these for paddling. For $15 I was so disappointed. It was incredibly difficult to out the batteries in and get the cover closed back up. I fought hard with both and only managed to get one closed with both batteries. The other I could only close with one inside and then it didn’t work right.
The whistle wasn’t very good, either. I have bought better for cheaper.
Finally, my son wore it on his vest and went tubing - not what it was intended for, for sure, but with one fall into the water, the parts broke off. I think he only has the whistle part now and I have the broken light one. For $15 each, which was a crazy price for these cheaply made and impossible to assemble things, I am super disappointed.

Won’t stay off

Bought the flashlight whistle combo for paddle boarding. Used twice and the light no longer stays off, it will just turn on randomly wasting batteries. Very disappointed.

So So
a year ago
Very light weight and convenient. Light is reasonable to 20 meters or so. Three settings are nice. BUT light flops around on hinge and the metal piece behind it seems weird. On/off button could easily be depressed in the daytime without one knowing.
Whistle is distinctive but you have to blow hard and it’s hard on the ears when blowing!
Will keep as emergency backup for hiking due to the light weight, but not thrilled about it.
No, I do not recommend this product.
