Q: Do these only work when the ‘on’ button is on? As in mine only comes on when the on button is on and the light just stays on no matter how bright it is. I thought it would only come on when it’s dark and turn off automatically when it gets light.

A: I think the on button over rides the day night use but it does need time tio charge in sunlight
