heater bulb is short lived

the lights on the unit have been working well for many months, but the heater bulb died after less than 60 hours of use. Unable to find a replacement.

IR bulb burnt out

Bought this product to add a little heat and light to a garage workspace. The lights are just what I needed in that regard- the heat not so much. It worked well for the first few weeks, but then the IR tube began to flicker and eventually disintegrated at one of the posts. Replacement tubes exceeded the sale price of the unit. On the bright side, pun intended, the lights work well.

Nice light...very mediocre heat !

Installed this above the work bench in my garage... installed led bulbs instead of the cfl’s that came in the box...light works great (4 bulbs), was hoping the heat bulb would emit a little more heat...still using an old electric forced air heater on the bench to keep my fingers warm when working with smaller parts...just getting old I think. Lol

Everything is included to hang light. Nice and bright, just enough heat to take chill off, Packaging could have been better as one of light bulbs was broken.

Returned it...

Had to return this product as it had a broken hanging loop out of the box. Also after reading further reviews, found out that the heat bulb is not a common replacement and difficult to replace. As this is a halogen heat bulb and not an element, it would eventually need to be replaced so I felt that it was not worth the purchase price, even at 50% off.

No, I do not recommend this product.
