Party Island!

I purchased this for a family member for Christmas and they love it! We tested it out in an indoor swimming pool (winter time you know?) and it worked perfectly! Everyone loves it and even people in motor boats seem jealous of us because they have to wear life jackets and we don't since we are basically floating on a giant life jacket.

Q: Are Batteries RECHARGABLE?? Also, how long is the life of the Batteries??

A: Yes, the batteries are rechargable (propeller battery and speaker battery). If the batteries are completely dead, the Owners Manual says that it will take 6-10 hours to recharge the propeller battery & 4-5 hours to recharge the speaker battery. I can't say how long they will last. Probably depends on how many people on the island and how hard you push it to move the weight. For the speaker battery... it probably depends on how loud you have the volume. More volume requires more power, so, faster battery drain.

Q: Can I hook up a motor? I just bought one of these & after I got it home, I realized it's not motorized as expected. Is there a way to add a trolling motor to it so we can motor to the middle of the lake?

A: Please see below for our suggestions: 1) Check if all 8 AA batteries are in correct position and they are new. 2) Check if the battery box connecting plug securely plugged into the control box plug. 3) Check if all plugs from PVC island securely plugged in to the control box and speakers. 4) Check if the phone connecting plug securely plugged into the phone. Sometimes the phone case might need to be removed.

A: It is ok for playing songs from the Android phone, the key is to use the right cable for connection. Also please be aware of not letting your phone touch the water, a waterproof bag is highly recommended.

Q: What is the gauge of PVC used in this Fluid 4 Person Party Island Float? I want to use for a river float. The river is calm with no motor boats or anything on it. A lot of floaters use the river which occassionally has shallow waters exposing the bed and rocks here and there.

A: This product is designed to only be used in pool or in calm water and close to shore away from boats and other hazards. And do not use the product in open waters, high winds, rapid current, dangerous tides, in waves, wakes or in bad weather conditions as it may not allow user to come back to shore.
