Great Product and Warranty

My Fiskars weed puller broke. The company was amazing to deal with and their warranty is five stars. So is the product. It is the easiest way to pull dandelions and many other weeds. Fast, efficient and simple.

Broke after 15 minutes

I used this for 15 minutes and the plastic broke. The last product I had similar to this lasted over 15 years. Really bad design.

Does the job

This is the first back-saving weed puller I ever bought. We have hard soil infested with dandelions, so it takes a bit of patience to pull the weeds out, but Fiskar is still easier to use and does a more thorough job than a hand tool. It does lift a grassy chunk out of the soil, but I simply separate the weed and plug the hole with the same grassy chunk. Fiskar does not work on the creepy-crawly type of weeds, as others have stated. You also have to be careful around any type of stone.

Bad product

Fooled me 3 times and now I've moved to a different make. These break after a few weeds pulled. I guess I have learned an expensive lesson. I like the brand and gave the tool another chance and then another but I'm done now. Can't find them in the store now...hmmm, wonder why???

Q: Est-ce que c'est normal que l'outil arrache pas mal plus que les pissentils? Le sarcloir arrache les pissenlits et la racine sans trop d'efforts, par contre, dans mon cas, il arrache beaucoup de terre et de gazon autour des mauvais herbes. Est-ce que c'est normal?

A: J'ai un sol argileux et cet outil crée de bon trous dans mon terrain. L'idéal, c'est d'acheter un bon sac de terre et de la semance, non seulement ça camoufle les trous crée, mais le gazon y repoussera de par lui même.
