Effective, but…

This certainly works well and would get five stars but for the fact that when pulling up a weed (with a long rap root) it pulls up a minimum golf to tennis ball clump of ground with it. For a truly infested lawn you will be left with a moon scape. For the early onset of weeds, a very relaxing non-toxic way to effectively manage things.

Appreciate the thoughtful feedback. Pulling deep-rooted weeds will often bring up some surrounding soil, especially with longer tap roots, since the tool is designed to remove as much of the root as possible to help prevent regrowth.
For more established areas, filling the small holes with a bit of soil or seed mix can help keep the lawn looking even while still staying on top of weeds early and effectively. Fiskars
