Q: How deep do these fence posts go into the ground?

A: You are using the finial to secure a section of fencing. So, the depth is restricted by the height of the fence. However, you have a good 10cm or more available. We have used this fencing at two different areas and it is very secure. Use a rubber mallet the pound in the finial if the ground is hard.

Q: What is the diameter of the pole? If the finial is 1 inch, the pole looks to be 1/4 to 1/2 inch rather flimsy??? The question posed by the previous customer wasn't answered. They asked for the diameter of the pole -not the finial. If it is a scale photo - and If the finial is 1 inch, the pole looks to be 1/4 to 1/2 inch rather flimsy???

A: Sorry for any confusion. The actual pole itself is 15mm in diameter - or 0.6 inches. It is very sturdy and holds up the 30" H x 36" W Finial Fence Panel (#059-0333-0) with ease when installed.

Q: Can these posts and the matching fence pieces be installed without cement? Cant these posts just be hammered into the ground or do they require cement for proper installation?
