I have installed locks before and I know that they can be difficult and everything has to be lined up perfectly. This lock was very poorly designed and I wasn’t able to install it. I returned it and bought one from a better known brand. If I reviewed this when I tried to install it the review would not be printable. I do not recommend this item and would like Canadian Tire to stop selling it.

Decent lock for the money

Only been installed for over a week so really not enough time to tell how long it will last but so far very impressed with how well it works. Whereas the one I replaced with it took several seconds to lock or unlock this thing is lightning quick!

Second times a charm

I bought this on clearance. Unfortunately the first one had what I believe were stripped gears and wouldn't lock. I returned for exchange and second one is working as intended. When locking manually it feels a little fragile but maybe thats just me. On clearance its a great deal.
