Avant d'acheter j'étais un peu craintif sur la qualité du produit, mais une fois acheté et installé, tout était parfait. La hauteur minimum étant de 17" (ajustable), la barre transversale arrivait à la même auteur que la boîte de mon Ranger, ce qui m'a permis de transporter du matériel de 12' de long sans aucun problème.

Q: Would this fit two 10 foot kayaks, that have been bought from Canadian tire (pelican model, sit in, max 275lbs)?

A: I don't think it would. I was also thinking about buying this extender. I have the same kayak and I believe the 10 foot model will not "stick out" of the truck bed enough to reach this extender.

Q: What are the differences between the Big bed Jr and Big bed Sr hitch-mount racks? Is the Jr collapsable like the Sr one?

A: The junior is not collapsible other than the two pieces. However both pieces fit crosswise at the front of the bed in my 2007 Tacoma with six foot long box. I have had great use with this with loads up to 16ft long! Very handy for 4x8 sheets that will not fit between wheel wells. Just make sure to tarp the underside well to avoid water and soiling in both dry and wet conditions. Not sure what other differences there are aside from length. I get lots of inquiries about this as they are not very common.

Q: I'm wondering if there is any reason why I couldn't carry a sheet of drywall with it (maybe if I first use some 2x4s as a base to provide structural support for drywall)?

A: This only comes with one bolt blocker, its assume the bolt blocker you would use for your trailer hitch is used for hitch connection.

Q: I have a 2016 Jeep Wrangler Sport I am wondering if the shorter piece will go out past my spare tire on the back so that I can use the longer piece in the upright position.

A: This is dependent on a couple of variable such as tire size, hitch specs and tire position. When the Big Bed Jr is installed, its 10 15/16” from the centre of the hitch pin hole to the first edge of the upright bar.
