Q: Will this work on a 1983 mercury 2 stroke 6 cylinder outboard motor

Q: What size hole do you make to insert it in a dash ?
6 years agoA: The product in question panel mounts into a 3.325 in. (3 3/8” or 85mm) diameter hole. Outer bezel diameter of the product is 3.59 in. (91mm) so there’s safely about 0.125 in. (3mm) of variance upwards from that dimension which can occur before you’ll start to run into a concern of there not being enough panel material to properly engage the product and hold it in place.

Q: Suitable for 2008 Chevrolet Cobalt LT 2.2 4Cylinder?
10 years agoA: This tachometer will be compatible with the 4 cylinder Cobalt. However, you would want to make sure that it is set to the correct settings for 4 cylinders. This is done either through a little switch on the back of the gauge that can be set to 4, 6, or 8. The alternative way to program the gauge is with the red cylinder push button located on the back.

Q: will this work on a 3 cylinder efi turbo chevy sprint
11 years agoA: The answer is, probably. It depends on a couple different things. Firstly, this tach will work with a 3 cylinder application, so you’re in luck. The turbo or EFI will not pose a problem. The most reliable hookup for this tach is on vehicles equipped with a distributor and ignition wires. If your engine has this, which we think it does, but we’re not certain, then your off to the races (fully sanctioned and professionally organized races of course). Please contact our Customer RElations Department at 1-800-387-8803 for a copy of the installation instructions.

Q: will this fit on an 89 ford escort lx 2door hatchback? 1.9L EFI inline 4, i know you can use this on an I4 but just installing it, does the hardware include installation instructions for my vehicle?

13 years agoA: YES! We had to blow up a 454 in our monte carlo for a fundraiser and we used the exact same tach. used it on that and the old mans cutlass which is an olds 455 engine

15 years agoA: Yes. According to the company website (where a manual can be downloaded from) this product can be used for 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 10, and 12 cylinder engines, as well as coil on plug applications.
