To reduce shocks, we would advise wearing anti-static gloves. If you do not wish to wear gloves, we would recommend maintaining contact with the steel strip integrated in the handle to discharge the static electricity. Unit works good when its working

Unit worked and than it didn't. After some research online there is a known issue with the switch giving out. I am a light user once every 3 weeks at most and it just conked out

Ego 56 volt blower review

Kinda heavy with the huge battery, plenty of power. Charger has a fan for cooling the battery during charging which is a nice touch. The battery level indicator is real easy to see. The blower tube has a little jiggle where it attaches to the blower housing. For how much this thing cost I’d expect better. That’s a mold issue. Too loose of a tolerance. Not fatal, but irritating.

It Really Blows… In the Best Way!

This blower easily competes with my gas-powered units — without the fuel smell on my clothes, the hassle of mixing gas, or the repeated cord pulling to get it started. On top of that, it’s noticeably quieter to run. The 5.0Ah battery is more than sufficient to clear snow from my double driveway 3–4 times. Any static shocks are no different than what you’d experience with a gas blower; they’re unavoidable when the snow is swirling. The only downside is that the charger produces a bit of noise, which can be mildly annoying — but that’s easily solved by charging the battery in another room. After several uses, I can confidently recommend this blower. You won’t be disappointed.
