Our new ecobee is set for 7 a.m. until 8:30 p.m. to run at 68⁰ after 8:30 it should drop to 58⁰ our furnace runs all nigh at 68⁰.

I Never Would Have Thought…

…something like this could improve our home’s comfort. I am truly impressed by the ecobee’s ability to manage the temperature with our occupancy. Our ecobee was installed seven months ago with our new Carrier HVAC and it has performed admirably. We installed remote sensors in all for bedrooms, the basement room, and two mid-level rooms. I’m fascinated watching the app, because it shows when the room is actually occupied and subsequently shows the HVAC system’s response to that new occupancy. It lags slightly, waiting to see if the detection was just someone popping in and popping back out, but after a couple minutes the system responds to a true occupancy. We have a wide variation between the basement and the rest of the living space, but overall the ecobee provides a reasonable balance throughout. No system is perfect so I give four stars for the commendable response it provides to our three living levels and highly recommend the ecobee.
