6 years agoA: I agree with Kelly, this is the best model for hardwood floors bar none, unless you move to a robot vacuum, they work great on hardwood too!

Q: Does the attach.ents come with the product?
7 years agoA: Hi Daphne, this is Carissa with Dyson Canada. We are pleased to advise our Cyclone V10 Absolute comes with a docking station, charger, combination, crevice tool, mini motorized tool, soft dusting brush, soft roller for bare floors and our new Torque cleaner head. Our V10 Cyclone Absolute and Animal have our Torque Head. To add to this, the switch on the front does not control the brushbar but rather opens up or closes the bleeds on the front of the cleanerhead making it easier for you to pick up larger bits of debris. Setting the torque drive to Plus on the left closes the bleed and gives you max suction, normally this will be set to the middle or Neutral. To open the bleeds move the switch to the right or the minus sign. This is great for hard floors where we had complaints that the direct drive head just pushed around larger bits or for other surfaces such as rugs where the head meets greater resistance. 6 years agoA: Hello Bonnie, this is Kelly with Dyson. The run time on the Dyson Cyclone V10 Absolute will vary, depending on whether you are vacuuming in high, medium, or low power. The vacuum will be switched on to high power, right out of the box. You can expect the following run times with your machine: With Motorised Head: 5 minutes (High), 20 minutes (Medium), and 35 minutes (Low). Q: How is the docking station attached to the wall?
6 years agoA: Hello Peggy, this is Kelly with Dyson. The included docking station that comes with our cordless models will mount to your wall with two screws. The charger cord will thread behind the dock. One end will plug in to your electrical outlet and the other end will snap in to the dock so that it's making contact with your machine, while being stored in the dock. Q: Will older model attachments fit?
6 years agoA: Hi Harry, this is Kelly with Dyson. Older tools will not attach to the Dyson Cyclone V10™. The newer cordless, V7 and later models, all feature the quick-release attachments and tools with the red tab. Anything with the gray tab won't attach without an adaptor. Any tools with a motor, such as a cleaner head would not be compatible with the new model Dyson vacuums. Best wishes, Kelly Dyson Customer Support

Q: Does this work on all types of carpet fibre from low to shag?
7 years agoA: Hello there, this is Kelly with Dyson. The Dyson Cyclone V10 Absolute features three suction modes to work well with most flooring types. With shaggier pile carpeting, you may find that you need to use MAX suction power.
