Good but not great

I bought a set of 3/8 and a set of 5/16 for my repair project . The 3/8 fittings work perfectly however of the two 5/16 units I used one leaked badly. After taking it off I noticed it was defective. Expensive part for a 50% fail rate.

This seems like it could be an easy to use product however it would not fit my nylon fuel line. I think because my fuel line may have swelled slightly (although only 5 years old). I think I could have got it to work if I removed the line from the vehicle which was difficult and the reason I chose this product to hopefully repair in place. Unfortunately I had to use a different method for this repair. I will keep this as a spare to try again in the future
