I bought this specifically to vacuum stairs and avoid lugging a full-size vacuum up and down. It does the job as I had hoped. It was a good purchase and I would recommend it.

Unfortunately the vacuum really doesn't have very good suction. We bought it for our cars and it does not get into small areas very well even with ths slim wand attachment. I would not recommend this item.
