    Disappointing out of the box

    Here is an example of a company that apparently does not care about their customers’ satisfaction. People have been saying for years that the BULB IS TOO DIM, runs hot, color temp is too warm, and bulb is super challenging to find a replacement for as well as install and de-install. This seems like a fairly inexpensive thing for the company to fix….why not do it? After extensive searching I was able to find an LED 6 watt spotlight bulb (60 watt equivalent) with color temp 5000k (daylight). It now gives the lighting I need, but it’s disappointing that it was not useable out of the box.

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bulb is just about useless. To dim amd gets very hot. The bulb blew quickly and I had to break the globe and use pliers to remove the base. Having a hard time finding a replacement bulb. The light shield needs to be larger for bulb replacement and hopefully keep it cooler.

    The bulb gets too hot and is too dim it is also very difficult to replace. I had to break the belb and then use needle nose pliers to get the base out. The cover should be bigger. The bulb should be LED and 40 w minimum equivalent.

    The worklight bulb gets hot and is not bright enough. It should come with LED bulb. It needs a day light type bulb.

    Necessary Attachment, Almost Too Short to Use

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This light should come with the Dewalt DW788 Scroll Saw. It just comes to the blade when fully extended and needs to be about six inches longer. It is just bright enough to be useful. I like that it has it's own plug so if you use a foot pedal to turn the saw on and off, the light stays on all the time.

    Yes, I recommend this product.
