I've used these several times to keep a couple different cars off the ground for extended periods of time with zero issues at all. don't forget to bend the locking tab on the side so it doesn't slip out. A nice addition is the safety pin you can slide through the side for peace of mind knowing that if even the jack fails, you've still got something in the way to give you time to get out. I look forward to getting another pair of these in the future.

Q: Can these be used on vehicle frames or just axles?

A: I've used them on my vehicle frames without issue, placing them at the jack points on the frame. Getting a jack puck does help, but it's not necessary.
