    faulty switch

My battery operated leaf blower works great as long as it’s attached to a battery. Dewalt discontinued the battery, so I had to buy a new leaf blower. I returned it within the hour and bought my first Milwaukee tool. Who’s at fault here; me for taking so long to make the switch, or dewalt for making me switch?

No, I do not recommend this product.

The best part: I bought 4 different yard tools, 10 years ago, and the tools still work today. Fortunately, I received 3 additional free batteries with my first 3 batteries. 3 stayed in their boxes, unused, until the last few years when the original ones gave out. The worst part: After buying over $1000 in tools, the line was discontinued, and the follow-on 20 & 60 volt product batteries will not power the 40 volt tools. As long as I can still acquire compatible 40 volt batteries from somewhere, I will keep using these tools. The batteries seem to be about 1/2 the price of the tools, no matter what brand or model you buy.

No, I do not recommend this product.

We bought this battery last summer for a battery-powered chain saw. After a couple of uses and an equal number of times recharging it, the battery no longer works. When we set it in the charger, we get a rapidly blinking red light indicating something is wrong with the battery. It's a terrible product if it can only be used a few times. I would NOT recommend this DeWalt battery.

No, I do not recommend this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] i’ve read the reviews and this battery has done me well compared to what i’ve read. i purchased a leaf blower and edge trimmer in 2017. now do i toss out my blower and edge trimmer tools because the replacement batteries combined will cost enough to buy two new tools?
