Serendipitous!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been purchasing DeWALT cordless tools for my husband for years not and he LOVES them. He is the handy man, I am not handy. Unfortunately, he had a massive stroke 5 months ago which left him paralyzed on one side, so he's wheelchair bound and he cannot speak. We have over an acre of property with lots of things to take care of. This winter our fence blew down and our dogs were getting out. No matter how I tried I couldn't keep them in. So, I decided to fix the fence myself. This cordless circular saw was amazing! I had never used it before but it cut through the fence boards like butter. I felt so good about my work and happy and confident I can now use the tools I've gotten for him to take care of our property until he's able to do it himself. Just wonderful :)

Versatile! Well Built!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I still have my 18V cordless circular saw from over a decade ago. With the 18V to 20V MAX adapter, I can still use the same saw while having upgraded to a new equipment using the 20V MAX system. This little saw is portable, versatile and an overall must-have for small cuts on big and small projects!

Always reliable!

This is a nice small and light saw. I wish I would have bought the 20volt because I have more 20volt batteries and the 20volt ions hold a very long charge. But it is a very nice saw to have around when you need to cut something small or big. No problems at all. Never had any problems with Dewalt. I do believe they are the best.

A: This is compatible with Nickel-Cadmium (NiCad), not Lithium-Ion (Li-Ion) batteries from the DEWALT 20V Max Line. Replacement charger: Multichemistry (0541270); replacement batteries: single (0543002) or 2-pack (0543202)
