Finally got a good sound.

The radio is not cheap however it is one of the cases where you get what you pay for. I finally got the sound that I was looking for and it is great to have the battery backup in case of power outage or if I want to take it outside

Broke quickly

Bought a few years ago for my husband and the radio stopped working rather quickly, it will no longer connect via Bluetooth and other than that the radio will just shut off after a few minutes if we can even get it to turn on.

Good, but power button?

This radio performed well for a couple of years. I use it mostly for radio, not much else. I don't mind the lack of remote, but I get that complaint. This weekend the power button just stopped working. Kind of a funky thing - wouldn't turn off even if I pushed it...so I took out the battery, and when I reinserted it turned back on without the button (surprised). Then an hour later without any pushing of the button, it turned off and never turned back on. Tried it with different batteries...nothing. Honestly was happy enough with the 2 years I got out of the machine that I was going to order another one. BUT, now I see several other complaints about this issue and I am not so sure.

Yes, I recommend this product.

A: No, the radio will not charge the battery while plugged in. The battery must be placed on a battery charger to charge.
