    Worked as advertised

Excellent. Softens the old silicone so it can be "scraped" away. Important to first removed the bulk of the silicone bead with a utility knife (or?). I missed a couple of small spots and the Silicone-Be-Gone softened the silicone and it came off okay, but the less residue, the better. Where the silicone was mostly removed before application, it wiped and scraped of easily. The label says "wait 2 hours" and I agree. Tried a small section after 90 minutes and waiting two hours was the way to go. Very good. ☺

    Yes, I recommend this product.

    Did you hear that???

I think I hear angels singing! LOL! Ok, so I've removed a whole bunch of three inch laminate backsplash, and am now looking at the equivalent of about 75 linear feet of silicone...on walls and countertop. WORST. JOB. EVER. I have scraped, razored, tried to bribe...yeah, this job was going to take the rest of my life. I bought a bottle of this stuff as a hail mary play. Opened it and thought, REALLY? It was like really bad jam with way too much gelatin in it. It was brown. It was gross. I thought for sure it was old and dried up. But I put some on a short stretch, and figured it might at least help. WOW! After leaving for 2 hours, it scraped off so easily!!! New hope that my job will get finished!!! YAY!!! I realize it might take a couple of jars. But so what? This stuff made an IMPOSSIBLE job possible. Even a thicker bead came away no problem, with minimal elbow grease. One tip I read somewhere was to cover with saran while waiting the 2 hours, so it wouldn't dry out. I did that, as it said that if it dries during the wait time you have to reapply. Yeah right. Not gonna happen. So the saran did the trick. I think an artist's palate knife might be easier to apply it than the little brush it comes with, and I will do that when I am ready to do more removal. The only reasons that I can think of that it doesn't work for some is that either the caulking they are trying to remove is not silicone, or that they allow the gel to dry out? Definitely worth every penny! And then some!

    Yes, I recommend this product.

    Works as Advertised

This stuff softens silicone so it is much easier to scrape away. Before applying, remove as much silicone as you can (plastic scraper or whatever), then apply this stuff generously, and wait 2 hours. The remaining silicone that was hard to remove at first is now easy to scrape away. I recommend a small 1/2 inch paintbrush. The one provided is far too small. Clean-up is easy as this stuff is water soluble. Wear rubber gloves. (If it can soften silicone, imagine what it could do to skin!)

    Yes, I recommend this product.

    Makes it easier

The product helped, but just don't expect it to do the whole job for you. You're not going to be able to miraculously wipe it off. As the instructions indicate, it merely softens the silicone to make it easier to remove. I cut away what I could & then found it difficult to scrape the rest off of the ceramic tile. After applying the product (& waiting the recommended 2 hours) it was much easier to scrape the rest off with a putty knife. So, if you've got the time & patience, the product does what it claims.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

    Maybe I did something wrong

Removed as much old silicone as I could, then followed the instructions to a T. Seems to me this product didn't remove any of the remaining silicone. Would not recomend it,

No, I do not recommend this product.
