Not functional

The application mechanism of these hooks is significantly less functional than other command hooks. The plastic backing does not release from the hook front when you push it upwards, so pulling the hook up rips off the backing before it can set. I followed the instructions exactly and used multiple adhesive strips with the same issue. This was super disappointing as I have loved most other command hooks that I've tried.

I've been using Command long before I was selected to give my honest review. With much experience using Command strips, I can say they are a breeze to use and don't cause any damage to my walls.
The Command hook is easy to use. I had a ladder I’d been meaning to hang but had been holding off because I needed drywall plugs and a drill. With Command hooks, I didn’t need any of those tools and got that ladder up in less than 5 minutes.
I do a lot of DIY and I'm not shy about using a hammer or drill, but this is so much more ideal. No mess, no holes, and so simple anyone can use them. Plus, they come off the wall easily, so you'd never know they were there.
The possibilities are endless on what you can hang on the wall, and now I'm looking for things in my house to put up!
