Purchased 2 of these on sale for camp with our Girl Guides. A great investment, indeed. Tents held up well in the rain and wind. They are very spacious and easy to set up, even with inexperienced campers. Our group will use these for years to come 🙂

Super easy set up, tall ceiling, durable material. I water proof it every year with a can of atsko silicone spray. Take the rain fly off when its nice. We booked a camping trip without checking the weather. Throughout the night the winds hit up to 46km an hour where we were staying, mind you we were not surrounded by any woods so it was just a clear field with high winds. At times it sounded like something was slamming into our tent but never did it give up on us or give me any concern to wake the children and evacuate. I've had this tent for 4 summers now and the only issue I've had to fix is one of the rain fly hook ups have torn a little, this happened in those 46 km winds.. I fixed it with gorilla glue and applied gorilla tape on top once it dried. This tent is amazing, its like a small apartment. Almost 7 feet tall so you're never crouching. Highly recommend !!!! From someone who camps all summer all around the maritimes, our weather is unforgiving. We also had a trip to miramichi where we had a torrential down pour and the tent didn't even leak once.

Q: Is it instant or quick setup tent? How long it takes to setup?

  • A: I can set it up myself in about half an hour, with another person it's 15-20min. The roof works like a normal dome tent and then you just add poles around the edge to jack it up off the ground, then put the rain fly on and peg everything down, very straightforward.

Q: How many mattress will fit in tent? Singles / Queen?

Q: Wondering if the room divider goes completely from one side to the other? Also does it zip closed or just tie shut?

  • A: It hangs from hooks that go into loops in the ceiling and then it splits down the middle with velcro to hold it shut. It doesn't provide 100% privacy as there can be gaps between the various points of connection. Two parties could change clothes on either side without seeing each other's naughty bits but only if nobody's being a creep.

  • A: We had very heavy rain the first time we used it and not a drop inside, granted I find that's the case with all tents when they're brand new but we've had it in a couple light showers since and still no leaking.
