Great thermometer with useful dual monitoring, but limited range There’s a bit of a learning curve to using the thermometer, which is expected. I really appreciate the ability to monitor both the internal temperature of the protein and the ambient grill temperature simultaneously. It makes it easy to adjust the grill’s heat without opening the lid to check how hot it’s running. The app includes a variety of proteins with preset doneness levels and cooking methods, which is a nice touch. I still need to explore whether additional methods like smoking can be added. My only real gripe is the limited range between the base unit and the grill. I kept losing connection until I found the right placement for the base to reliably communicate with both the probe and my home Wi-Fi.

Not realistic

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It was cool in theory but if i didn’t receive it promotionally I honestly don’t think I would buy it. The case is hard to charge when keeping in the kitchen and I (with only cooking for 1) am rarely cooking a big enough piece of meat to put a thermometer in.
