Q: How many amps is this winch and how may watts does it use
5 years agoA: The amp draw is dependent on the weight of what is being pulled. The motor is 0.3 hp / 0.2Kw, 12V DC power.

Q: what gauge is the battery cable and is there one or two 20 ft cables.
9 years agoA: There is one 20ft. battery cable. One end plugs into the utility winch and the other is two jumper cable style clamps to connect to the battery. This battery cable is 12 gauge wire.

Q: ,what is the amps draw and footage per minute 1000 lbs pull are they in stores
9 years agoA: At a 2000-lb load, this winch spools at a rate of 1.7 ft. per minute and draws 21A. Of course, with lesser loads, the speed of the winch will increase to a maximum of 4.5 ft. per minute and the amperage consumption will drop to 3A. Please note that this winch is new to Canadian Tire and will not be immediately available at your local store.
