Q: Can it be used to shrink wine bottle capsule?

A: This heat gun can be used to shrink wike bottle capsules, however I would now suggest it as this model does not come with a encompassing heat deflector to make it easy. It would take time and care to make sure the capsule shrinks evenly, but is doable. I would suggest putting the capsule on and exposing to steam or a pot of boiling water, but that has it's own issues.

A: Thank you for your question. We would not recommend using this tool to remove paint from plastic because it does have the capability to bend plastic from the heat.
