Bought this late last year worked fine, brought it inside for the winter made sure it stayed charged…. Like another comment won’t even start my mower anymore or hold a charge. Lasted just over the 6 month warranty

  • A: If you purchased a new battery from Canadian Tire, you can return your old one to receive a refund of the core charge. If you did not purchase a battery from Canadian Tire, while you will not receive any money, you can still bring old batteries to your local store and they will ensure the batteries are properly recycled.

Q: Looking at purchasing battery #010-2055-4 but the flyer says "No returns on Core until further notice" - If I save my receipt, will you accept the old battery and provide the $20 Core Charge refund when current COVID in-store restrictions are lifted?

  • A: The battery comes filled and charged – ready to go. This is a U1 battery – it is most commonly the factory-size for lawn tractors, some outdoor equipment and UTVs. We are not aware of any ATVs that take a U1 size battery as the factory size. Please use our Car Parts Selector tool (link located at the bottom of the screen) to look up the correct powersport battery for your year/make/model of ATV.
