Supplied with incorrect hardware

Junk. First the warning sticker is placed on the facing side of the bench seat… like what??? That’s like a couch sewing its product label into the cushion for all to see. Next, the bolts supplied to fasten the upper shelf into the left and right support are not long enough. Surely, I could find the correct hardware easy enough, but it’s the principle. Not where I’d expect to see a product fail. Love Canadian tire but this one is going back. Not even gonna bother with packaging.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Didn’t fit where I wanted but was able to use in a different area. One point I needed a second person to help. Recommend building as close to where it’s going especially if you have to take it down stairs.

Nice unit and functional to have by the door.

A great unit to have by the door for coats and boots, the hooks need to be located higher because coats and jackets affect the bench area and cover it. Well made & seems pretty sturdy and nothing too outlandish with the colors or materials used. I would recommend it to anyone looking for something similar and easy to put together for one person.

Q: Can the hall tree be attached to a cabinet? Is there a space to put screws?

A: No, there aren’t any pre drilled holes, but I would use two short strips of fabric and some grommets and that should hold it. We’ve also used a decorative stone on the bottom shelf to weigh it down. We found it to be very wobbly without the added weight.

A: The bottom rack helps to stabilize the unit, so you need it. You could probably drill some holes lower down to mount the shelf but I wouldn't not use it at all.

Q: Hi, I bought this Hallway Tree (model no. 068-7571-8) more than a year ago. It's been fantastic but not too long ago the back rail broke with one of the hooks coming off. I wonder if it is possible to buy parts. Where and how could I get a new back rail?
