Q: Are they dishwasher safe?

A: I've always washed them by hand (it's also recommended in the Features section). I feel that dishwasher detergents may be rather harsh to the polish of the mug(s). In addition, the copper side "may" develop a nice patina over time. There are websites that tell you how to achieve that.
