Q: Do these lights really stand up to a Canadian winter? The wiring on them is pretty flimsy.

A: This is our second year using it and so far no problems with the wires, they are low voltage lights that’s why they are not very big wires. Only thing I have found is if it’s really windy the metal stakes are a little short and you’ll need to put something on the stand to keep it from tipping over.

A: There is 1 year warranty against defects in workmanship and materials. Before returning the item, unplug the tree and inspect. The tree should not be used if there are any cut or frayed wires. Check for loose connections, ensure all connections including the adaptor connection are tight. Plug the tree into a different outlet. If the tree does not light up, the adaptor or the strand may be defective. Note that the LEDs are not replaceable. Do not attempt to replace the bulbs or modify the string.

Q: Do these trees have a male and female end on the plug so one tree can be joined to another or do they just have a single male end?

A: Each CANVAS Twig Tree is independent, they do not connect.
