Nice to look at but flaws/inconveniences.

Nice tree with lighting options. Unfortunately when you turn the tree back on it does not retain the same mode as when it was shutoff. So every time you turn it on you have to sue through the modes to get where you want… each time , easy indoors but not when outdoors even with the remote.

A: For safety it is not recommended to hang ornaments or other objects on the tree or light strings.

A: The remote offers many functions. There are 16 separate colours that can be chosen by pressing the specific colour. FADE and ASYN FADE will produce slow changes between colours. JUMP will move from one colour to the next. ASYN JUMP will change each bulb to different colours to create multicolour colour change.

A: Yes you can. It comes with a remote and you can light up with a large variety of solid colours or it can be set to fade or bounce. There are many options.

Q: Is there a way to set the default setting when it turns on? I have all my lights on a timer and don’t like the default as much as the other settings.

A: It doesn’t seem to have that option. Mine are on a timer as well and I have the same issue.

A: I wish I could answer your question. Unfortunately, shortly after I turned the lights on, I realized the colours on the tree were more suited to an Easter tree (rather than a Christmas tree, which what I had expected from the product description). I quickly unplugged the tree and returned it to Amazon.ca.

A: The lights on the tree are not replaceable. There is a 1 year warranty.

Q: In the reviews there are pictures of this tree with some of the lights being purple and some of them being blue. Does anybody know how to do this or if it’s possible to change which colours appear during a fade?

A: the misfire [i think of as having an errant few bulb colours] has corrected itself and everything is back in synchronized all colours the same weather fade or steady stream change . i was concerned at first it might be a defect . have not had the tree long enough to really get to familiarize myself with all the combinations i do like the effect and would tentatively give it a five star rating . one visitor an elderly lady is going to get herself one.

A: Sorry, the same happened to me. I've been playing with the remote but it's not user friendly. I gave up and just let it cycle through all the colours.
