This replaces an older water filter and this is much better. I like the light feature The filter is also good It looks good and fits better than the old one in my fridge.

My water and my ice was horrible tasting and now I can drink it again. My only complaint is that the refills are sooo expensive.

Not sure if it's related to the Elite filter or the larger size, but the water runs through faster than my previous Brita (6 cup). Helped a lot in removing weird flavors from my tapwater, without having to touch my plumbing.
