Died after 1 month of light use.

I bought this unit on sale and was pleased to use it; it seemed to work well. Within one month, it started doing something like a duty cycle where it would charge then not charge the devices switching every 1 second—cheap and unreliable garbage.

No, I do not recommend this product.

It definitely does the job. I'd have given it 5 stars, but (and this is a matter of personal taste) I HATE the brightness of the 'on' light. Not great on your bedside table if you like darkness when you sleep.

The Bluehive 5-Port USB Homebase works great, I like that the top 2 ports can be utilized for items that draw a little more power and I usually have all the ports in use most of the time. If you need a USB Hub I would recommend this one.
