Drains your battery when not in use

Drains your battery when not in use. I noticed ever since I hope this app my bike battery goes dead if I don’t use it for two weeks. Before hooking this up the battery lasted all winter and still started. It worked great besides this. I would suggest adding a switch if you plan on using this or just buy one with a switch they are out there.

No, I do not recommend this product.

    Questions

    1 - 3 of 3 Questions

Q:  Hello, the last charging project was this something similar product. It had a  cigarette lighter and a 5v  outlet. The problem being when I wasn’t using the bike there was a little blue light always left on. Is there anything Madewithout the bluelight

    • A: I don't think this has a blue light. But 5v USB outlets still use a small amount of current even when it is not being used. It should be connected to a circuit that is only hot when the key is turned on

Q: To connect this to the battery, does it have an SAE "battery tender" type connector, or just positive and negative leads to connect directly to the battery?

    1 Answer
    • A: This product has no indicator light and only needs to be a proper connection and then it can be used, so we’re sorry that we have no idea for how to have the blue light off for your socket.
