I read about this in the NYT for cleaning the glass walls of the shower. I’d tried many other products as well as a lot of elbow grease with only fair result. Bar Keeper’s Friend worked like a charm with almost no effort. Highly recommended.

A: yes, this works. the other answer suggestion dawn and vinegar does not work. maybe just for soap scum, but not for soap scum stains + hard water.
