Q: Is this torch hot enough to braze with ?
a year agoA: Yellow fuel tanks and it brazes aluminum with zero issues for me. Heating the metal to the right point is (for Me) the tricky part to find.

Q: how hot is the flame with Map compared to Propane ? , Can you make the flame point as small as with Benzomatic brazing set ? I realize the temps wont be as hih but will flame point be as small / accurate ? ...please add any revalent info Thanks
2 years agoA: Thanks for reaching out! The MAPP gas will add around 100 degrees more heat when compared to regular propane. The flame will be as accurate as the Bernzomatic brazing set.

Q: Is this the same torch as the FirePoint Creator Tool #TS8000 that i have seen advertised on US websites? That one can be used with MAPP gas as well. Thanks,
