Worked great

I pulled a push rod out of my engine that I mistakenly dropped down. It also makes it easy to pick bolts up off the floor or from behind the engine. I'm constantly dropping stuff around my Caddy's engine so it is a lifesaver. Only real complaint is that it's not too simple to get the kinks out of so I had to crush it straight in my vice grip. It will hold 1 and 1/2 pounds. I could pick up my ratchet with it.

Awesome Value For Money

This magnet is powerful and can hold heavy items such as wrenches. It can get into tight spots that solid shaft magnets cannot. I'm a mechanic and I have approximately 5 bendable magnets. It's also a great idea to use 2 or 3 bendable magnets at a time to hold metal objects up and out of the way while working behind them. You can turn the bendable magnet into hook shapes to retrieve both metal and non-metal objects. The shaft can also be bent to fit inside an oil or transmission pan to collect metal filings. The guys at work are always 'borrowing' my bendable magnet. For this price I say, "Buy your own!!"
