    False advertising

    The flashlight only has white light. I guess writing a product description is a highly complex task. It does not flash a red light. I read all of the stellar reviews and thought it was a good buy. Then only afterwards I looked at the question and answers section and I can see this was brought up over two years ago and nothing has been done to fix the description. Disappointing but not surprising. I always hear the narrative trying to guilt the consumer with "support brick-and-mortar or it will disappear" or "shop local," completely glossing over the fact that physical stores have largely abandoned the very thing that made them viable: carrying actual, diversified inventory. When a store's stock is reduced to a homogenized sea of generic, mass-market items, they cease to be a specialty resource. For anyone managing a specialized project, relying on a brick-and-mortar storefront becomes an exercise in futility. You shouldn't have to waste your time, fuel, and energy driving around only to settle for a product description that flat-out lies to you. Online shopping didn't win simply by being cheaper; it won on pure utility. The light itself if pretty good though so I gave a two star rating not because of the product quality but because of the false advertising. If it was accidental that's one thing, and yes mistakes do happen, but there's obviously been no effort to correct it.

    No, I do not recommend this product.

    This flashlight is handy in that it can be used in different situations. It stands but you can hang it as well and of course you can hold it. The light can be adjusted as well - forward, up, and at an angle - very versatile.
