Product Details

A Take-Down bow designed for older, more experienced children (recommended ages 12 and up), the Bear Archery Bullseye X Recurve Bow is a natural next step for your budding archer. This recurve bow doesn't offer the let-off assist of compound bows, meaning the draw-back required more effort, but ultimately results in a more powerful shot. Each piece of the bow is made from a hardy, lightweight multi-laminate: white on the limbs and a carved wood look on the grip. the Bullseye X is a traditional-style recurve bow available in three sizes – 48”, 54”and 62”. The 48" draws 15 lbs, the 54" draws 24 lbs, and the 62" draws 26 lbs.

Good bow but not modular for growth

A good started bow for children, my son has used it for over a year now. Good quality construction. Recently disappointed to find out that the arms cannot be purchased separately. Bought this bow specifically so my son could advance up to higher weights and draw lengths as he grew -- but I was told the arms can't be purchased without purchasing a new base. This seems counterintuitive to the takedown design and concept of a children's bow with multiple bow arm weights!

Impossible to string without fraying the bow strin

Limbs have a sharp ledge near the tips that the bow string always catches on when stringing. After stringing this bow 4 times the bow string is frayed in one spot making it dangerous to use. Should be a smooth surface and operation.

No, I do not recommend this product.
