CHEAPLY MADE

May 2020, we purchased the Bamboo Cutting Board Set. What a mistake that was! The very first day, after a single washing in warm water with mild soap, & the large cutting board is already warped! Immediately, slivers are popping up everywhere on the board too. Cheapest product ever! DO NOT BUY THIS! We were surprised that this set got a 4 out of 5 star rating.

bamboo warps

second time i bought bamboo and because of the reviews i thought it would be better but within a couple of weeks the board is warping even though i put oil on it and didn't soak it.

These were great until the large cutting board suddenly warped. I've only had them for a few weeks, and I always thoroughly dry them after washing. Super disappointed, will be returning.

Why are the ratings so high for this product ?

Used twice, second time for cutting chicken so I soaked the board in hot water, antibacterial soap and a tablespoon of bleach.
The board is now warped so I'm returning this to C.T.

Q: Is this product non-toxic? Some manufacturers use formaldehyde to adhere the wood together, what is used for this board?

A: I dont know exactly what is in it. But what I noticed is that the first time I washed it, there was a very strong heavy chemical smell. I washed it a second time and the smell went away.
