the most user-friendly wax I've used from CT

I've had experiences with 5 different waxes from CT and this is the most user-friendly type I've come across. While it is not as aggressively hydrophobic as Meguiar's ultimate paste (extreme water beading on fingers from simply touching the foam applicator), it is the easiest to remove. Take a soft, porous foam pad, touch against the oily wax and rotate the jar one turn for an ultra thin film. Apply onto paint surface slowly. It should smear. If the pad skips over the paint dry, you are moving too fast (also avoid grabbing too much wax and wasting it). Even when I over-applied on the first panel, it hazes and swipe clear with no hologram on the panel. Important to use multiple fresh microfiber towels, because removing it does produce fine carnauba dust that attaches to the panel by static. Using fresh towels eliminate going over the panel more than once. For me, paying a premium for this product over cheap waxes is all for the removal process. No re-wetting and scrubbing or "elbow grease" needed.

Yes, I recommend this product.

  • One swipe removal with no hologram
  • No hologram, easy to remove wax after drying

Excellent top coat wax. Incredible Shine.

Great product as the final top coat to any detailing job. Comes with two hand applicators and a red microfiber towel. Go to YouTube to watch how it is applied. Hint # have the cashier check the box the product comes in to make sure all the pieces are there before you leave the store. This product is a favorite of thieves as the package is not vacuumed sealed. Nothing like getting out to the car to find their is no product in the box.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Q: Can i apply this wax in the sunlight as normally after i was my car in my driveway?

  • A: Best results are in the shade. The temp of the paint is the real issue. If it is not too hot then you are probably okay in the sun. Work in sections so it doesn't dry too much. Meguiars ultimate liquid wax works really well in the sun.

Q: My 1988 Cutlass Supreme has faded paint and I'm not sure if its past the shine stage, any suggestions

1 Answer
  • A: The best product to use to restore shine would be Super Resin Polish. This should do the trick, if not you can always use Paint Renovator first which is a little more abrasive and then follow up with Super Resin Polish. Please ensure to follow the directions on the packaging.

Q: How to get a goo blemish off my black car

1 Answer
  • A: When you are referring to the “goo blemish”, if it is in fact something sticky, we recommend using the Autoglym Intensive Tar Remover (39-3603).
