This paint is made by Tremclad. It is Tremclad paint put in a different label. That is why it is cheaper. No marketing costs.

Steel Tugboat use - previously used Trem clad & numerous commercial paints on "above-water"
structure . Armor Coat is far superior and much cheaper.
I can strongly recommend this product over the others!!

A: From my experience, I would say yes, both are oil base products, however, to be sure, I would contact a business that applies bed liner coatings and discuss the issue with them.

Q: Does this come in white? Also what makes this brand 60% more expensive than Armor Coat? And can it be painted over with any paint, latex/oil/spray can?

A: Armor Coat primers are not available in white, they can be coated with just about any topcoat. Tremclad is more expensive because of the superior formula, specifically that it is rust inhibitive vs rust preventative.
