1 Answer
Merci

Q: Hi how many of these tablets should I use in my floating dispenser my hydro force 39.5 " x 12ft pool ? And how often? Thanks

Anonymous3 years ago
1 Answer
  • A: Hi, the theoretical dosage is 25g/10 000l per day or about 9-10 pucks in your floater for a week. The most important is to test your water a weekly and maintain a chlorine level between 3-5 ppm. The chlorine consumption will vary with the temperature/weather and pool usage. Thank you

Q: How many of these tablets would you put in a floating dispenser in a kiddie pool that holds 250 gallons of water?

1 Answer
  • A: Hi, we would suggest 1 tab/week max. We always recommend to test the water once a week with the Aquarius test strips (0813728) and adjust according to. The tabs are slow dissolving and need flow/ circulation to dissolve. Thank you

Q: These are not dissolving at all - temp 80+ and also put in front of return jet to get water flow and still nothing after 2 days. Using the Canadian tire dispenser open full vents. What is the issue?

1 Answer
  • A: Hi, the stabilized chlorine tablets are a slow dissolving product. They will take up to 5 to 7 days to totally dissolve. They also need some flow to dissolve. Because they slowly release the chlorine, you may not get an instant reading. We always recommend to shock with the Aquarius Shock once a week or if needed when the temperature is hot, there is a heavy rain or the usage is higher than normal. Thank you Thank you

Q: How man grams are in a 1" tablet?  We have a 10 foot Easy set up pool and it asks for 1" tablets in the filter. We have a bucket of 2" tablets weighing 60 grams each. I'm trying to figure out if I should half or quarter these tablets to use in our pool.

  • A: Hi katie, 1'' tablet are 20 grams. If the 2'' tablets fit in your filter our dispenser I suggest to use them. You will need about 1-2 tabs a week. Adjust according to your water testing. Thank you

Q: Is it safe for children to drink the water after using the chlorine tablets in family pool

1 Answer
  • A: Hi, Swimming pool water is not made for human consumption, meaning, it is not considered as a drinking water. Although swallowing a SMALL AMOUNT of pool water is harmless, it is important for parents to know that ingesting too much can lead to chlorine poisoning or so called recreational water illness. If in doubt, we advise that you consult with your doctor or a chemist. Thank you

Q: what is the difference between the stabilized chlorine and the platinum shock as they both seem to have chlorine in them?

1 Answer
  • A: Hi Marthor, The Platinum Shock is a premesured 3 in 1 pouch. It contains a blend of products including stabilized chlorine granule, an oxydizer and a clarifier. It is a fast action shock which allows you to go back in the pool in the next 30 minutes. The Stabilized Chlorine Granule can be used as as daily sanitizer or a shock. Once added to the pool you will have to wait 10-12 hours before going back to swim.
