No 1" plastic caps to be found

I tried using it on a plastic tube. It did not go on proper that was my fault I was in a tight space also the cap is not flat at the back so it is difficult to use a o ring to cap off a plastic pipe to prevent leaking .I tried this 1" metal cap as i could not find any 1" caps in plastic
