This kit includes a submersible pump with flow control to draw water from the barrel and send it through a hose at a rate of up to 500 gallons per hour to nourish your plants. It works - could be designed better.

The first fitting adapter I used between pump and garden hose stripped and I was only hand tightening. The second one I was more careful with, but it is cheap material. It worked for what I wanted it to, I actually wish the control could slow the pump down more. I wouldn't buy it again.

I agree with an earlier review. This pump is too weak to be of any use for watering. It might have sufficient power for a small garden fountain, but that's about it.

Low powered and cheap, flimsy plastic

It does not have enough power to use a garden hose nozzle or power a sprinkler. It is also made of all plastic and feels flimsy and easy to break. This is another one of Canadian Tire's cheap garbage products. We want quality and reliability!
