set timer multiple times, never goes off. got rid of packaging as did not expect an issue with such a basic item but this is useless. will try to return

Operating instructions: Always turn timer knob clockwise to the 55 minute mark and then turn counterclockwise to the desired minute mark to ensure a proper setting. The alarm will ring when the pointer passes the one minute mark and the timer will stop a “0”. Note: The mechanism will continue to tick for a few seconds after the bell rings.

A: This timer does make a ticking sound. We wouldn’t call the ticking noisy and yes you can clearly hear the ticking sound when it’s counting down.

Q: Does the timer have a magnet at the back of the unit? Would like to be able to stick it on the fridge and need to know if it has a built-in magnet OR if there's enough room at the back of the unit to attach one. Thanks!
